CCP Karkur had great fun at the Charity dinner asking everybody about them :)

For me the Gallente Stout was the best (but I also have a weakness for stouts). The strongest of them all, it had a strong, earthy taste. Some people said that it resembled more a Porter, but I disagree. Interestingly enough, the bottled version was smoother than the tap version; but both could have profited from a few more months of aging.

The Caldari IPA was the weakest in my opinion: hoppy, but not enough body to back up the bitterness.

The Minmatar Red and Amarr 'Lager' (it tasted more like a Pale ale) were neck to neck. I am not a fan of Reds, but both were decent session beers- the Amarrian being hoppier and less sweet than the Minmatar.

They weren't the best beers in the world, but could hold their own, and they were definitely a welcome change from the ever-present Gull lager.Druur Monakhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07299435488090977357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1966268702453044660.post-8222501708349410422015-04-03T13:05:03.404-07:002015-04-03T13:05:03.404-07:00As per the title of this blog, I drink cider not b...As per the title of this blog, I drink cider not beer. Is there any commercial beer you could relate them too so us non-fanfest goers could imagine what they might taste like? :)Zzzzleepyheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05580257327756562799noreply@blogger.com
